The Shoot

When Ethan owner and creator of F4 Work Works contacted me for branding photographs I was super excited to collaborate idea with him. He needed some branding photographs for his website, he was looking for a couple environmental portraits and a few detail photographs. We spoke about his work and his process and came up with some neat action shots in process of working too.

Technical Side:

I wanted to highlight the details of his work and workshop. For this I used a main light, and a secondary light in the background that served as both background fill, and side/hair light. For the action shots of Ethan using the saw, I placed a light on the outside facing in through his workshops window. I then placed another light behind him for a nice rim light and separation from the background.
